Mirvio Downloader saves supported public video files. Direct file downloads need no account. Supported cloud streams require a paid Mirvio account. YouTube downloads are not supported by this extension or its cloud connection.
The Scan action reads video source addresses, video dimensions, recent media request addresses, public video metadata, the page address, and the page title in the selected tab. It also reads accessible same-origin frames and open web components. It does not inspect cross-origin frames or closed web components. It does not read page forms, cookies, or your browsing history. It does not send the page HTML to Mirvio.
Direct downloads use Chrome's download service. The source site receives the normal download request. Chrome can apply its usual session and network behavior. Mirvio does not receive direct download content or addresses.
The extension keeps direct download IDs, titles, and timestamps in local storage. Records expire after 24 hours and are removed when history is opened. Chrome retains its normal download history separately. This extension does not send telemetry, use advertising trackers, or execute remote code.
Continue in Mirvio transfers only the selected page address to the Mirvio connection tab. You sign in and confirm the paid job there. The extension stores a pending page address locally for up to one hour, and a limited job access token and status for up to 24 hours. These records survive browser restarts. Clear cloud history removes them without canceling cloud jobs. The extension has network access only to mirvio.ai for job status. A scheduled check updates active jobs. It does not receive your Mirvio account session or site login cookies. The cloud downloader requires a Mirvio account and paid quota. Submitted source URLs reach Mirvio and the public source hosts. No site login cookies are transferred. Terminal jobs remove their source URL from the queue payload. Outputs and temporary files expire within 24 hours plus the hourly cleanup interval. Database job status and quota records remain in your account.
No YouTube downloads, DRM, paywall bypass, private access, or universal site support is provided. The extension and its cloud jobs reject YouTube sources. The store package contains no YouTube player resolver or remote enablement switch. The separate Mirvio web app is not a source of jobs for this extension.
When you scan a page, Mirvio can read public subtitle track addresses, language codes, and labels. Subtitle files download directly from their host through Chrome. These files are not sent to Mirvio. Source resolution labels apply only to the active video source; alternate files can show Quality unknown until preview.
Download titles and Chrome IDs stay locally for 24 hours. Saved page addresses and titles stay locally for 30 days, with a 100-page limit. Expired entries are removed when opened. Preferences remain until removed. Page bookmarks do not copy videos or sync across devices. Preview requests go directly to the source host without cross-site cookies. A selected playback device can receive the media address.
Your theme and toolbar indicator choice stay on this device until removed. A scan can set a media count or dot on the toolbar. The extension keeps only the count and tab ID in session storage for this indicator. It clears the indicator when the page loads or the browser restarts. It does not scan pages in the background or add site access.
Three local flags remember whether you hid the guide, completed a download, or dismissed the cloud-tools suggestion. These flags remain until the extension is removed. They are not sent to Mirvio. Tool links include fixed campaign labels, never video addresses or titles. Opening a tool does not upload your downloaded file. Website analytics use the website consent choice.
